As we grow, so does our aspiration to make meaningful change in the world.

Our independence from outside funding ensures our mission remains clear, without needing to satisfy investors. Our community drives every decision we make.

Phase I: Dawning of a Movement (6-12 months)

Expand the Learning page to include a critical mass of resources for researchers, students and organizations:

Courses, podcasts, ethical AI frameworks, research papers, publicly available textbooks, a directory of AI ethics organizations, and other relevant content.

Establish a pipeline for members to contribute content for the News page.

Refine and expand the forum into more of a social network/forum hybrid.

Phase II: Leveling Up (12-24 months)

Establish a Fellowship program to recognize significant contributions to the cause.

Build and host a free Choose Your Own Adventure game for kids to learn about AI safety.

Develop and distribute a free AI Ethics Auditor, a modular system that can be added to existing AI systems.

Host live events, Q&A and workshops with Fellows and guest speakers.

Partner with educators to establish EthixU as a safe place for students to learn and grow their skills with an ethical focus.

Phase III: Connect The Connectors (24 months and beyond)

Establish an invitation-only community for AI ethics organizations to coordinate efforts and share information in the interest of advancing safe AI and protecting humanity from AI risk.

We are strongest together. This mindset applies to organizations as well. Working in a silo is inefficient and ineffective. During this phase, we will bring these orgs together in a space to collaborate and work together for the common good.

Who knows what will happen along the way, but that’s our vision for the future.
