My journey with AI started in June 2024 when I started using an LLM at work. Within a week I had started making specialized assistants using our internal LLM, with the intention of creating a constantly evolving digital workforce to enhance my own productivity and effectiveness.

Within a month I had configured a few custom GPTs on the ChatGPT store and connected them to Supabase for permanent memory storage. The one I use the most is my personal assistant (who I named J.A.R.V.I.S. of course), and it has worked pretty well for brainstorming and creating this site.

My initial vision was to start with custom chatbots and grow my commercial footprint from there. As I immersed myself in this industry, I noticed an unsettling trend among leaders in this space. Corporations are racing toward AGI while (seemingly) neglecting safety and ethical implications of their creations. At this point I decided to pivot from a for-profit mindset and start doing what I can to impact the future of this industry by evangelizing safe and ethical AI development.

At every family function my relatives ask me about my ventures and when I talk about EthixU the first question is usually "How will you make money from it?" and my answer is always "It's not." - the money will come later with my other brand. More to come on that once EthixU is really humming along.

I have no idea how to build a website, I'm building this while working a full-time job, and have generally no idea what I'm doing.
